I am already putting myself on a tighter budget, but this one kit, I really do have to get. It's the Zetaplus C1, and I had the original transforming kit of this, from the original Sentinels line of Bandai back in the '80s or '90s.

Some Gundams at the GBWC Japan leg
Here are some of the nice Gundam kits I saw at this entry about the Japan GBWC for 2016.

Gundam Build Fighters TRY: Super Fumina, Titans Colors
It seems that mixing mecha and loli or almost-loli girls is the order of the day (re: Frame Arms Girls), but in this case, it's Gundam. I actually like the mecha components, I just wish it wasn't so, err, French. Still, c'est la vie!

Gundam Unicorn MSV: ReBawoo
The original Bawoo unit is one of my favorite designs, so it's no surprise that I have a soft spot for this bawoo variant, that's supposed to be an ace version for use by a main character in Gundam Unicorn.

Mini Turrets with cannons, for Frame Arms
The idea of cannon turrets for the standard Frame Arms mecha makes sense, but for Frame Arms GIrls, it's pretty much a Kan Colle wink-and-a-blink.

Frame Arms Revolver Cannon
This is probably one of the few Frame Arms Weapons that I won't get - not because I don't like the idea of a revolver-style cannon, but because there are a LOT of new stuff coming out from Kotobukiya right now, and I actually don't know how I'd use this.

Metal Garland
This is a surprisingly popular offer, the Garland transformable landbike/mecha from megazone 23.

Kotobukiya Frame Arms: Hresvelgr Rufus
Definitely a must have, though I would probably just buy the scythe-laden weapon sets, as this version seems to have the standard rifle blades from the original Hresvelgr (albeit not prepainted).

Frame Arms Fistfight
It looks like Kotobukiya has a fist fight in its hands, with these new large-size hand manipulators. They're perfect for use with the new Guardian armor system, while at the same time it can probably be used with 1/60 Gundam-type mecha.

Bandai's new Gundam and Patlabor figures
It looks like Bandai is going for a lot of new products. Of note: a non-SD Knight Gundam figure, and the new Patlabor:Reboot mecha - and mobile hangar.

Full Armored Saber?
It seems that the idea of Weapon as Armor has come to the Fate's Saber.

It's no surprise, given the existence of the Gundam Astray Second Frame.

Bandai SoC Ankoku Daishogun
While this isn't necessarily a mecha (jury is out on what it really is...), it is one of the big bads in a mecha show, so I'm including it here.
No word yet if this is a prototype, a display piece, or will actually go into production.

Megahouse D-Spec Metal Gear Rex (Black version)
For those wondering, yes, this is an SD/Chibified version of a scary mecha.
I approve.

Bandai HGBF 1/144 Lunagazer Gundam
I actually liked the design - but that semi-ring setup just doesn't work for me. If I ever do get this one, I'll probably bash it with the original Stargazer.

Diaclone Cosmo Dia Battles
Now, I have the first Dia Battles Mecha set, and this is essentially an upgrade for one of the segments - specifically, the backpack and arms.
I recomment this toy line to anyone who wants a mix of Microman and Transformers!

When Science Fiction becomes Medical Science and Technology
I know that the first thing I thought of was powered exoskeletons from anime and science fiction, but seeing a PWD start walking like this pretty much just expands what technology like this can do for the quality of life.
